Founded by former Tesla executives, Northvolt operates gigafactories in Sweden and is building capacity across Europe to supply EV manufacturers including BMW, Volkswagen, and Volvo. With over $8 billion raised, Northvolt aims to produce 150 GWh of battery capacity annually by 2030 to power Europe's EV transition.
